40: I have not once in my life been drunk. Some people find this odd, considering I end every evening with a glass or two of wine, port or scotch.

    • Thank you. After that kind of encouragement I don’t know whether to jump up and down or break dance.

      • hmmmm def go with the break dancing ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Sure thing ma’am. I’ll just put on the music, hmmmmm, Bruce Springsteen, no, too dark. Backstreet Boys? No, too yesterday. Daughtry? No, too awesome. Bon Jovi? No, too rock and roll. Cyndi Lauper? No, too dancy. Ah, I got it! I found the right one! Now, press play….yes, and, ah, shit! I think I tore a muscle! Arrgghhh! The pain! No more dancing for me I’m afraid…not today at least. Oh, and thanks again for the comment.

      • hahahaha you’re hilarious. be careful there….

      • Hilarious am I? Why thank you Ms. Ginger, you just made my morning. Oh, and thanks for the advice…and for the comment…again!

  2. Hey buddy, nice to meet you. Noticed you follow the Cats ๐Ÿ™‚

    Am a Richmond boy myself…

    You write ‘very’ well!

  3. Greetings from a fellow bass player on the other side of this giant mudball.

    • Greeting and salutations! (Mudball? You mean Earth, the gorgeous blue and green eyed Goddess? Good descriptive name though โ€“ never heard her referred to as anything โ€˜muddyโ€™ before, lol) Thanks for visiting!

Hi, Derek. Thanks for dropping by in my blog. I saw we are currently of the same age, but you were born one year earlier than me. How did it happen? ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, I see you are a promising writer and I hope you will be able to reach your dream. I recently finished reading a novel which I will write a review on before the week ends and the main character in the novel reminds me of you. Weird, huh?

Good luck in writing and I hope you will be able to share more comedy posts ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks for the comment – and thanks for the follow – always appreciate new followers. In regards to the age thing, it’s because I have not altered my ‘about’ page to accommodate for the birthday I had a couple months back. I wrote the page back last year – or something…unless I’m secretly an alien and happen to age differently than the human species. Don’t know which answer can accommodate the situation. Thanks for picking up on the error and I’ll fix it up soon.
Also, in regards to the novel, that is weird. Never been told something like that before. If a character was reminiscent of me, then that must mean he was tall, good looking and had an explosive personality! Yeah, right!
And good luck with your writing as well Monica! Cheers!

  6. Hey Derek,
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and like “Annoyance.” I appreciate that. I agree that life would be pretty awesome if we could ‘save’, and redo the stupid mistakes or take back hurts, but then again those are the things that affect the heart deeply, things we write about….so maybe not – BUT, certainly having those health packs placed randomly would be a good thing. ๐Ÿ™‚ Keep on writing Derek, I’ve enjoyed reading your works/thoughts.

    • Thank you for dropping by my blog! I agree with you about the inspirational qualities of painful occurrences which in turn assist us in creating pieces of poetry. Thank you for your inspirational comment. Have a great weekend! ๐Ÿ˜€

  7. Hi totalovrdose! thanks for visitng Martha’s Garden…and for “liking” Tangerine Rose! I also want to be a published author “when I grow up”… that may never happen, however (growing up!) ๐Ÿ™‚

The details of the award can be found on the following link http://billieazahir.wordpress.com/2013/05/17/the-liebster-award/ Believe me I understand if you do not do as instructed, I just wanted to make sure you were aware your blog and you are appreciated by me.

    • Thank you for the award! Really appreciate it! Thank you also for the comment! ๐Ÿ˜€ Also, I didn’t realise my content was really violent or sexual. Well, perhaps sexual, yeah, I agree with you, but violent? I might have used the term ‘depressing’ myself. But I ain’t going to argue – such terminology makes my blog sound really awesome! Thank you! Again, really appreciate the award! Thank you for stopping by! ๐Ÿ˜€

Really? You’ll help me travel to the Philippines? Wow, I think I referred to you as ‘kind’ in a previous comment – I retract that, because you are far sweeter than a kindly individual. ๐Ÿ˜€ Cheers!

      • Yup, I’ve been using Blogger since 2006. But I also had a blog in LiveJournal and WordPress before. But I deleted them and went back to Blogger.
