International Online Poetry Competition with GMBS

Online mental health awareness group Good Morning Bedtime Story (GMBS) has recently unveiled an online international poetry competition.

The competition will run from Monday the 20th of January and close on Sunday the 20th of April, so please, start writing!

The poems which come in first, second and third place will each receive a certificate and a free e-book. Additionally, the poem which comes first will be published in the next GMBS anthology, and the poem which comes second will be published online.

All contestants are able to submit three pieces in total, and not necessarily all at once. Furthermore, every piece submitted:

-Must have pertinence towards mental health

-Needs to be attached in a Word doc or docx file

-Needs to be 1.5cm spaced

-Can be up to a maximum of 100 lines each

GMBS will send a confirmation e-mail to notify that they received your entry/entries.

    • Yes, I have a strong connection with mental health as well.
      Please feel free to submit Ma’am – your writing is extraordinary.
      I am also very interested to see what people will write about. I however am not allowed to submit – I’m one of the people helping to instigate the competition.
